Every AWOL projector bundle is designed to provide a complete home theater setup. Depending on the bundle, it may include a 4K projector, ALR screen, premium audio system, Smart Station, or Vanish hidden storage cabinet. The exact components vary by bundle, so check the individual product listing for the included items.
The main difference is installation distance. Ultra Short Throw (UST) projectors can be placed just inches from the screen, making them ideal for living rooms and TV replacement setups. Long Throw projectors require more distance between the projector and screen and are often suited to dedicated home theaters or rooms with flexible mounting options.
Yes. AWOL projector bundles are designed to simplify the setup of a large-screen home theater by combining a compatible projector with a screen and, in selected bundles, audio and other home theater components. Choosing a matched bundle can help reduce compatibility and installation considerations when building a complete projection system.
AWOL bundles are pre-configured with selected projector and screen combinations for compatibility and value. Screen sizes and other components may also be available separately, allowing you to create a more customized home theater setup based on your room size, viewing distance, and installation requirements.
Daylight ALR screens are designed for rooms with higher ambient light and are well suited to living rooms or daytime viewing. Cinematic ALR screens are designed for darker viewing environments and are optimized for a more theater-like experience with stronger perceived contrast and deeper blacks.
AWOL laser projectors are designed for home entertainment use and incorporate safety and viewing-comfort features. Select models, including the Aetherion Series, feature Anti-RBE Technology designed to reduce the visible rainbow effect associated with some laser projection systems. Certain models also carry TÜV certification. Check the specifications of your specific projector for applicable safety certifications and features.
Vanish is AWOL's hidden projector storage solution. It conceals the projector inside a cabinet when the system is not in use and raises it into position when needed, helping create a cleaner, more minimalist living space. Vanish is optional and is not required for an AWOL projector or screen to operate.
Yes. AWOL offers projectors, screens, audio systems, cabinets, and accessories individually, depending on the product and market. Buying components separately gives you more flexibility to build a custom home theater system around your room, screen size, audio preferences, and installation needs.
Warranty coverage varies by product and component. LTV-3000 Pro comes with a 1-year limited warranty. Aetherion Series projectors, screens, and speakers include a 1-year limited warranty plus a free 1-year extension, for 2 years of total coverage. Smart Cabinets are covered for 5 years on the cabinet itself and 2 years on mechanical and electrical components. Accessories carry a 1-year limited warranty. See AWOL's Warranty page for complete terms and conditions.
Start with your room size, available installation distance, ambient light, desired screen size, and audio requirements. A UST bundle is generally suitable when you have limited space between the projector and screen, while a Long Throw setup may be better when you have sufficient room for projector placement. Your choice of ALR screen should also reflect how much ambient light the room receives.
