What is Dolby Vision and why is it so important?

Image quality is determined by brightness, color gamut and color depth. The SDR image can only display a maximum of 100 nits, 8-bit color depth and Rec. 709 color space content. The HDR 10 image supports up to 1000 nits, 10-bit color depth and Rec.2020 color space.

Dolby Vision, the highest level of HDR standard, supports 10000 nits, 12-bit color depth and Rec.2020 color space performance. Additionally, the overall image is dynamically adjusted scene by scene and even frame by frame. Dolby Vision allows you to see more details with better color accuracy, greater depth, incredible contrast and a wider color gamut. It constantly makes adjustments so that every image on the screen is optimized.

The brighter the projector, the better the image quality of the content. If you choose a projector with more lumens, you will get better Dolby Vision image quality.
